How it works
What causes hair loss ?
With the hormonal changes of aging comes a decrease in the number of
active hair follicles. Though this is an essentially universal change in
all of us, a number of hormonal, genetic or disease states make some of
us lose hair earlier in life.
The most common cause of hair loss is known as androgenetic alopecia
or pattern baldness (men and female).
MALE PATTERN BALDNESS
Male pattern baldness is something that 7 - 15% of North American males
experience by age 25, and almost 40% by age 35. It is a natural,
age-related change in the body and represents over 95% of all hair loss
in men. The exact reason and cause of male pattern baldness is not
known, though it is clear that our genetic background represents a huge
part of it. The hormone androgens (like testosterone and
dihydrotestosterone (DHT)) also play a big part. The loss of hair
follows a horseshoe-shaped pattern (or a crown) with the hair on your
sides and back of the head generally being left untouched. You can
assess your chances of developing male pattern baldness by looking at
your male relatives, starting with dad and grandfathers. Male pattern
baldness often begins slowly at puberty, but may then come on very fast.
FEMALE PATTERN BALDNESS
For woman, female pattern baldness is the most common type of hair loss
(also called androgenetic alopecia). It affects about 20 million women
in the North America alone. It can begin at puberty, but is most often
seen after menopause. As we discussed previously, male and female
pattern baldness happens when hair that falls out is no longer replaced.
Female pattern hair loss is generally a change to thinning hair rather
than just falling out, and is more noticeable on the top of the head.
Whether it's a death in the family, a miscarriage, an illness, a
separation from the loved one, etc., body stressors can affect the hair
follicle. What is believed that the stressor causes a major change in a
large portion of the hair follicles, moving them from the anagen growth
phase to the catagen then telogen rest phase. The follicle then lets go
of the hair that's already there while refusing to provide a
replacement. Known as telogen effluvium / deffluvium, it is the second
most common cause for hair loss after androgenetic alopecia.
The last important form of hair loss is traction alopecia. Traction
alopecia is hair loss due to excessive and chronic pulling or traction
on hair. It commonly occurs in people who braid or knot their hair.

Designed to help men and women quickly grow thick, new hair from
broken or dead hair follicles.
- Supplies vital botanical
components and essential nutrients to nourish and clean hair
- Stimulates hair in the
Telogen phase (The telogen phase is the resting phase of the hair
follicle) to grow into normal hair in the Anagen phase.
- Protects hair from damages
caused by various bleaching, perming and excessive shampooing.
- Restores original hair
color by stimulating production of melanocytes. (A pigment-producing
cell in the skin, hair and eye that determines their color).

Q : . How long will it take to notice
Stop in hair loss ?
Grow new hair ?
Get my original hair color back ?
Hair loss : 4-6 Weeks
Grow new hair : New hair roots will start growing
in 6-8 weeks and you will notice new hair in the 3rd month.
Original hair color: When the new hair grows, you
will have your original color restored.
Q : Why using a shampoo or gel product is not as effective as a
natural product that you take in a capsule ?
A : Hair gels are concentration of treatment lotion that are
applied on a dry scalp. This kind of product is to be used in
conjunction with a shampoo and a treatment lotion. But the effect
depends on the patient's absorption capability of the scalp skin and
usually circulation on a bald scalp is poor, so the lotion is wasted and
the expected results are not achieved.
Q : What causes gray hair and how does Hair 4 Life cure it ?
A : Hair typically turns gray as a result of aging. Pigment in
the hair shaft comes from special cells at the root (base) of the hair.
These cells are genetically programmed to make a certain amount of
pigment (melanin) at specific ages. At some point in the aging process,
these cells make less and less pigment until the hair has very little
pigment. At the end, white hair has no more pigment.
Hair 4 Life works in two ways at the pigment level to prevent and treat
gray hair while revitalizing dead hair strands to produce natural hair
color. Hair color is produced by a variety of human pigments, most
notably, melanin. Melanin is produced by melanocytes that are found
within the layers of the hair follicle.
When hair is produced by the reproduction of the epithelial cells, newly
produced melanin accumulates in the cells and colors the hair itself as
it emerges from the follicle. Hair 4 Life also stops male pattern
baldness by blocking increased levels of DHT (dihydrotestosterone). DHT
is one of the hormones that is responsible for male development and is a
major contributor in hair loss, as men get older. DHT shrinks the hair
follicle until it no longer produces visible hair. By blocking DHT, hair
loss is stopped and the hair growth process is restored again. Not all
hair responds in the same way or at the same time. So the graying
process is usually is gradual one. The result of Hair 4 Life varies for
men and women and appears usually within 4 to 6 months.
Hair 4 Life is the only gray hair formula designed to help you overcome
genetic and natural aging causes of gray hair and baldness in both men
Q : Will Hair 4 Life make me grow hair on unwanted areas.
A : No. Hair 4 Life is not a hormone based product. It does not
increase your hormone levels; it does not increase testosterone levels
in your body which is sometimes associated with hair growing o n
