Mechanism of action:
ViaZen Sleep
aims to provide a deep and restorative sleep overnight and to get rid of
the difficulty to fall asleep, by eliminating night awakenings and the
feeling, in the morning, to have not slept sufficiently. Stress,
anxiety and febrility being often at the origin of insomnia, the
therapeutical properties of the medicinal components of ViaZen Sleep
contribute also to cure it. By improving the quality of sleep, ViaZen
Sleep allows, moreover, to eliminate daily disorders resulting from bad
sleep (physical weakness, drowsiness, concentration disorders and lack
of alertness, mood disturbance, irritability, stress, distress,
vulnerability of the immune system (greater risk of infection), etc).
The medicinal
components of ViaZen Sleep act with synergy to regularise the
physiological mechanisms implied during drowsiness and sleeping period,
by supporting a sedative, calming, anxiolytic and relaxing effect.
Lemon Balm is an exemplary plant to support a restorative sleep
naturally. The Commission E and l’ESCOP recognize the use of this plant
to relieve the nervous disorders such as insomnia and agitation. Its
benefits are due to the complexity of its medicinal components,
including hydroxycinnamic acids and their derivatives, tannins,
flavonoïdes, monoterpenic glycosides, sesquiterpenes and triterpenes.
Some researches have highlighted that certain components of the melissa
are acting on the central nervous system. Passiflora is also a
highly effective plant to counter insomnia. The commission E and
l’ESCOP recognize its use to relieve anxiety, nervousness, muscular
spasms and sleep disorders of nervous origin. A clinical test showed
that this plant was as effective as oxazepam (anxiolytic of the
benzodiazepines family), to relieve generalized anxiety. The alkaloids,
indols, flavonoïdes and glucosides are the biochemical components
responsible for its anxiolytic and sedative properties. These substances
act as neuromodulators on the level of the nervous system cells. The
5-HTP is an amino-acid synthesized by the organism from tryptophan,
another amino-acid, present in the food proteins (meat, poultry, fish,
dairy products, leguminous plants and nuts). Once absorbed, the 5-HTP
has the capacity to cross the hemato-encephalic barrier to be
transformed into serotonin, an essential neuro-transmitter to the
regulation of the mood modulation, the anxiety, the appetite and the
sleeping activity. Increasing the production of serotonin in the brain
attributes to the 5-HTP the capacity to help curing insomnia, anxiety
and other neurological disorders depending on an optimal serotonin
level. Also an
amino acid, the l-theanine is extracted from green tea.
This molecule contributes to increase the production of dopamine,
serotonin and GABA at the cerebral level, generating a state of
wellbeing, mood modulation and anxiolytic properties. This amino acid
also supports the production of the alpha cerebral waves, which are
associated to a relaxation state and a reduction of the anxiety.
For this reason, an exemplary relaxing effect
on the nervous system is attributed to the l-theanine.
Magnesium is a positively charged ion. This action is implied in
many physiological functions. Its presence is
essential to the good performance of the muscles and the nervous
transmission. Its calming and relaxing properties help to obtain
a peaceful sleep. According to certain authors, magnesium deficiency is
implied in several disorders, including nervousness, anxiety and
tiredness.
In short, ViaZen
Sleep makes it possible to support simultaneously several physiological
processes implicated during the sleep. Moreover, it makes it possible
to cure several discomforts resulting from a sleep of poor quality.
Insomnia is a very common problem. While curing it naturally, one avoids
the development of undesirable side effects, as well as the habituation
and the dependence encountered by the use of a synthesis sedative
medication.
The ingredients’ synergy of Viazen Sleep is the key
of the effectiveness of this SUPERIOR FORMULA.
